Do I have to Purchase Your Study Guide to Take the Exam?
Not at all. Your goal in taking the Postal Exam is to score as high as possible. Simply passing it will not get you a job - you must score in the top 10%-15%.
Our Exam Guide gives you an advantage over the other applicants who did not use our Exam Guide. The Post Office charges nothing to take the exam however.
I See There are Companies That Offer a Study Guide online - Do You?
No. and there is a reason why. Granted, it would be much more profitable for us to do so, saving our expense of printing and postage. Our goal is to get you as
comfortable with the testing process AS YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IT, to enable you to maximize your score. We strive to present the sample questions and answer sheets in
a format as similar to what you will actually see. You will already have enough on your mind that day. Also, our materials do not require you to log on to a computer
to simply do some practice questions. We believe that if you are going to be tested on paper, you should also practice on paper for consistency.
When I Asked at the Post Office if They Were Hiring. They No.
Federal law prohibits Postal employees from discussing job openings with customers. The most current information on job openings and test dates are available on
the Postal Service web site, and this contact information is available to you in our materials.
I Saw a Warning About Study Guide Scams. Are You Guys Scammers?
Unfortunately, there are always a few bad apples that spoil it for all. There is some base information available to all for free from the Post Office about the
Exams and job positions. There are some companies that either promise or imply they can get you the job guaranteed, which is illegal. We make no sure guarantees,
and in addition to significantly more test information than the Post Office offers, we go into detail on how to answer the questions quickly, scoring strategies
and exercises that should improve your score. We will admit the Post Office is not crazy about you buying our Study Guide, because they know it will enable you
to score higher than you would otherwise. Additionally, we invite you to check us out with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org and enter our company's name - National Career Service.
The Only Job Exams I See Being Given are the 460 Rural Carrier Associate.
Though they don't specifically say it, this is the basic entry level position for the majority of postal positions offered, rather than the Full Time City
carrier, Delivery, or Sales positions. In the Rural Carrier position you will learn skills needed to move up, and the majority of the Full Time "473" positions
are promoted from the Rural Carrier employees. It is the foot-in-the-door.
How Often Do They Test?
The jobs are so good they do not have frequent vacancies, but they routinely test in most areas during the year. Even if you do not see an exam in your area
right now, that does not mean there will not be one next week, so you need to keep checking. Portions of the exam can be very challenging, so have a bit of extra time
to prepare can only improve your score.
How Does the Hiring Process Work?
Please understand we are in no way associated with the Postal Service and have no influence on hiring. However, our packet contains all of the contact information
you will need to secure an application, apply for the exam online and determine the exams being given in your area.
Is There a Benefit to Being a Veteran?
Absolutely! Our material provides you with the contact information to obtain all of your veteran benefits as they pertain to the exam and scoring. By the way...
a sincere thank you for your service.
